Oh, my nose is so drippy
And my throat is all scratchy and sore
I am constantly sneezing
And my nose has been wiped till it is raw
One minute I’m cold and all shivery
And feel like I’m going to freeze
The next I am a raging inferno
And I’m performing a fevered striptease!
I’ve had enough of this cold now
And being all sniffy and snotty
I just want to start feeling better
Instead of looking and feeling so grotty!
Hopefully, it will be gone soon
As it has been hanging around for too long
It is time for it to move on now
And bugger off to where it came from!
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well, Judy. Get well soon.

You’re still sick? Or sick again? Oh Judy, I’m so sorry! Either way, grotty is the perfect word!

Get well soon my friend. Have you tried the neti pot? Apparently it’s an excellent way to flush the sinuses.

I shouldn’t be laughing should I 🙂 I hate colds. Makes one miserable, but I enjoyed the humourous picture that you painted. I like it. No, not your cold. Get well quick.

I know, I felt better for a while this afternoon, but then have not stopped sneezing. The really deep ones that hurt your ribs!

I hope that you get well, soon. It’s that time a year, I suppose. It’s frustrating, since the nicer weather is moving in and a cold appears. Sigh…

Yes, ‘fraid so. There is so much of it going around. I have got off lightly, my sister had had it for 4 weeks, and I seem to be getting over the worst of it now. Thanks Sue 🙂
