Free-For-All Friday

Well here we are, Friday again, and this time, a very Good Friday  – in more ways than one!

Of course, I have got a few Easter treats lined up for your enjoyment which I am sure you will enjoy. Please go and visit their blogs for plenty more goodies.

Deborah Drezon Carroll, Author Now, I love to have a laugh, and sometimes will write a rather tongue-in-cheek post. I never want to cause offense to anybody, but as Debby has found out, some people need to lighten up a bit! I thought this post was brilliant, and so is Debby for sticking up for this blogger!

Barsetshire Diaries I love David’s blog. He has a very entertaining way of telling a story, not to mention a fantastic taste in music! Oh, and he gives the BEST hugs too!

Dublin Housewife This is just one of those blogs that really makes me laugh. Maybe it is the Irish accent that does it but I love her expressions and banter with ‘Jimmy.’ Absolutely brilliant!

The Writer Next Door I was totally blown away by this story, and I am not normally a lover of that genre at all! I loved the sensuality of it, and the surprise ending too!Well, there you have an Easter Eggstravaganza (sorry, couldn’t resist it),

Well, there you have an Easter Eggstravaganza (sorry, couldn’t resist it). Enjoy!

Happy Friday, and to those that celebrate it, Happy Easter!

Free-For-All Friday

It’s Friday already and I have a few fantastic posts for you to feast upon. Please go and visit them as you will find much more there to enjoy. You will be so pleased you went.

Cindy Knoke. This is a lovely post and makes me proud to be a part of this wonderful blogging community.

Stuff and What if… I loved this….both the images and the imagery!

Fourth Generation Farm Girl Tonya shares a brilliant way to beat stress with us here!

I know you are going to love all of these.  Enjoy!

Happy Friday!

Free-for-All Friday

My goodness, how the week has flown by. It is already Friday and time to feature some of the wonderful posts that I have enjoyed this week. There are actually an extra two,  that for some reason, did not make it into last week’s post so I have included those as well.

Please visit these wonderful blogs and see what else you are missing, you will not be disappointed!

Erika Kind This post was very enlightening, and something I am still working on doing. Erika always has a quote or some words of wisdom to inspire and encourage, and I hope you will check out her new book whilst you are there too.

Jen’s Pen Den I always love to learn new things, as well as brush up on things I thought I already knew but actually hadn’t perhaps got quite right! Jen is wonderful at explaining things as well as illustrating her point with examples.

Myths of the Mirror. This was a great post that raised a very valid point, but  of course, me being such an idiot roared my head off at the pics Diana created. Brilliant! #

Joeyfully Stated This was a typical Joey post. Telling it as it is in her own unique style, but what she says always makes sense, and usually makes me smile too!

Little steps to Somewhere This post brought back memories of when I was a teenager trying to make myself look gorgeous (and failing)!

Sacha Black This post was just adorable! It made me laugh and took me back a few years! The end result was just perfect, though.

Behind Distant doors I have met a few of these characters and Azul has got it spot-on with her brilliant poem!

Well, I am spoiling you all this week with a veritable feast! Enjoy!

Happy Friday!

Free-For-All Friday!

Free for all Friday

This week has passed by in the blink of an eye and here we are, it’s  Friday again! I have of course got an assortment of goodies for you to get stuck into over the weekend. Please take some time to visit these wonderful blogs to see what other treasure they have hidden there!

Daily Echo I thought that I was pretty good at spelling and grammar. After reading this post I realise that I have failed miserably, and am not up to the standards set by our government for SEVEN year olds!

Homemade Naturally Donna has some really great ideas and I loved this one!

For Friends Without Borders, This is Rob’s brand new blog and a wonderful concept. He had given about 30 of us admin rights so that we can all share this blog and publish whatever we choose; wonderful freedom for some of us that have to be a little more discreet on our own blogs!

How The Cookie Crumbles Tess is one of those people that I really envy! Her ability to tell a gripping and entertaining short story is brilliant.

A Certain Point of View One of my favourite poets has done it again! This is just so bloody funny you will LOVE it!

Far Flung Friends.

One of the best things about being a blogger, I have found  is meeting people from all different walks of life.  I love the diversity we have on here. I love that we have our own traditions, customs and cultures. I love that now matter what colour, creed or sexuality we are, we all have something in common. We are all one big blogily (to coin a phrase from my blogging sister Ritu

No matter what time of day or night there is someone online to talk to. It is fabulous too that there is always someone to give us a bit of help and advice, or moral support, and encouragement; maybe even more importantly, there is someone there to listen to us. Not literally of course, but they read our words, and engage with us. It really is quite unlike any other community I have known, as most of us in our offline lives, choose what we say to people or how we portray ourselves, but online we are more honest and open. It is a wonderful feeling then to have so many friends that still like us, warts and all!

I have made friends with people from all over the globe, and despite our differences, there is always so much common ground, love and laughter being two of the biggest ones I can think of.

Not only have I made friends but I have also received three packages in the last few months that have really touched me with how kind and thoughtful you are.

Wendy sent me some beautiful hand made Christmas tree decorations from Australia

Christmas decoration
My beautiful Australian seashell decoration

Mary-Anne some socks that she had knitted herself in the colours that I chose. I have them on now with my pj’s and they  are so warm and snuggly!

Snuggle socks
My lovely socks all the way from Canada

Tonya sent me a ‘care package’ of beautiful chocolate, peanuts (not in the pic as I ate them already), her brilliant book ‘Clemmie the Communic-CAT’,’ one of her antique plant pots that we had talked about, a sheep Christmas tree decoration and a notebook and pens!

Care package
My American care package. The salted caramel chocolate was too good to share – sorry!

I consider myself very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life, and although I absolutely loved my gifts, the friendship I have with each of you means the world.
